The first-ever Block Party in Hyderabad witnessed electrifying performances by Brodha V, Seedhe Maut, DJ Kan-i and Hanumankind
Hyderabad: Played host to a new kind of royalty over the weekend, with some of India’s kings of hip hop taking the stage in the city at the BREEZER Vivid Shuffle (BVS) Block Party. The incredible evening, attended by Hyderabad’s very own star, Vijay Deverakonda, featured power-packed performances from Indian hip hop artist Brodha V and hip hop star sensations Seedhe Maut, Hanumankind, and DJ Kan-i coming together on one platform.
Celebrating the theme of the #BeatsOfTheStreets, the sixth season of BREEZER Vivid Shuffle kicked off its string of high-octane hip hop events in Hyderabad. The Block Party was a tribute to the hustling spirit of the city, celebrating its beating heart of hip hop culture. The event was an amalgamation of the modern and old-school scene with Shufflers flaunting their moves at open dance cyphers. Superstar and hip hop fan Vijay Deverakonda was the soul of the party, bringing his signature charm to the evening. The actor took to the stage between performances and kept the audience fired up. The youth icon has had a longstanding association with BREEZER Vivid Shuffle, and was seen grooving to the performances of the night and engaged with his fans and fellow hip hop enthusiasts. The current season of BVS, much bigger than the others in the past, was attended by fans from across the city offering them a much needed breather from their everyday lives.
DJ Kan-i added to the glitz with his skills as a top-10 global video DJ on full display – having the audience swaying with his stylized rhythmic beats and excellence at Video Turntablism. Lyrical rapper Hanumankind, who made his debut at NH7 Weekender in 2019, won a flood of new fans through the night with his sharp-witted verses and rousing deliveries. The iconic duo Seedhe Maut took the stage, and instantly had the audience rocking with their lyrical dexterity. Brodha V’s unique take on blending rap with Indian classical and folk genres was a memorable end to the block party .

The melange of hip hop cultural elements at BREEZER Vivid Shuffle was an instant hit with the audience, with crowds flocking to the souk-style market. The Block Party witnessed a few classic b-boying dance offs as dancers flaunted their best moves at high-energy dance cyphers. As the sun went down, the fans too moved closer to the stage to give in to the infectious energy of the star performers.

With a host of live music acts, the Block Party in Hyderabad offered a bigger canvas to fans who got to vibe to hip hop favorites, indulge in open dance cyphers, and enjoy delicious food, all under one roof. After the successful event in Hyderabad, BVS is all set to take the hip hop movement across the country, with the next stop on the tour being a two-day festival in Mumbai on 12th and 13th November 2022; with the final Block Party of the season in Guwahati on 19th November 2022.
